Mary Elnora Tillson, 101, formerly of Ashville, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Brown Memorial Home in Circleville, Ohio. Born in Fitchville Township on August 28, 1911 to the late Roy and Elnora (nee Bell) Stone, Mary graduated from New London High School. She lived 35 years in Ashville, Ohio. Mary was a wife, homemaker, business partner with her husband and avid gardner. She is survived by her sister, Ernestine VanAsdale, of Columbus and niece, Norma VanAsdale, of Cambridge. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gardner and brothers, Victor Stone and Wayne Stone. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 1 p.m. at Fitchville Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mary can be made to the Fitchville United Methodist Church, 1593 US 250 South, New London, Ohio 44851.
