Obituary

Mary L. White, 75, lifetime resident of New London, passed away May 2, 2012 of a lengthy illness. She was born May 23, 1936, in Shiloh, to the late Alvin and Ellen (Kline) Paramore. She worked for the former Ohio Body and C.E. Ward Company, New London. Mary retired in 2000 from White Screw Products and enjoyed being a homemaker. Mary enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, lottery and spending time with her family. She especially loved seeing her great grandchildren. She was a member of the Eagles 711 and Moose Lodge of Norwalk. She is survived by her husband, Wilmer E. White, children, Sue (Rick) Peggs of New London, Kathy Perkins of North Fairfield and Paul Perkins of Sandusky; stepchildren, Kevin (Janet) White of New London, Michele (Jeff) Tock of Westlake, Curt (Karen) White of Catharpin, VA and Wilmer White III of Savannah; grandchildren, Trina (Joe) Stevens of New London, Stephanie (Geremy) Carruthers of New London, Brooke (Joe) Ball of New London, Colin Peggs, Kaylee Peggs, Kendra Peggs, Natalie (Brandon) Dresser of Norwalk, Nicole Moffett of Willard, Jessica Conn, Jennifer Conn, Mariah Conn, Tommy Conn, Patrick Conn, Rychele White, Mitchel White, David White, Justin White and Erin White; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie (Ray) Davis of Irvine, CA, Jean (Jack) Taylor of Norwalk, Eleanor Russ (Lennie Burke) of Hemet, CA, Marilyn Williams of Ashalnd and June Keister of Orange City, FL; brothers, Richard (Thelma) Paramore of Henderson, NV, Jim Paramore of New Haven, Harold (Susie) Paramore of Wooster, Marion (Mary Jo) Paramore of New London and Mark (Patty) Paramore of Emporia, VA; aunt, Arlene Wilson of New London and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Lawrence, Robert and Arthur Paramore. Family visitation will be held Saturday, May 5th from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London. Memorial donations can be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
