Obituary

Mary Lou (Williams) Guyer, 71, of New London, died Monday, June 20, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born on October 2, 1950 in Harold, KY to the late Lizzy (nee Tackett) and John Hamilton.

Mary loved working as a supervisor at Fanny Farmer Candy Company in Norwalk. More recently, she worked at Forest City Technologies in Wellington.

Mary enjoyed garage sales and flea markets. She treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandson.  Mary loved her dogs, Princess, Brownie, Harley, and Roxie.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Guyer, Sr.; children, David (LaNelle) Williams, of New London, Lisa (Tony) Zahuranec, of Wellington and DeWayne (fiancée Beth Murray) Williams, of Sheffield Lake; 10 grandchildren, Robert (Tiffany Eastman) Shays, Alyssa Shays, Reghan Williams, Colton (husband Steven Oldfield) Shelton, Jarett ( fiancée Morgan Gundlach) Williams, Madison Williams, Alexis Williams, Maddox Williams, Macey Williams, and Makayla Williams; great-grandson, Kyler; and siblings, Susie (Everett) Carroll and Lorain (Blackie) Williams. Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Lizzy; her first husband, Lenox Williams, and several siblings.

Family and friends will be received at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London,  on  Thursday, June 23 from 5- 8 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m..
