Matthew A. Caudill, age 42, of Willard, died Friday, June 25, 2010, from an allergic reaction to a bee sting. He was born August 13, 1967 in Willard. Matthew was a lifelong resident of the Willard area. He was a graduate of South Central High School, Greenwich. He had served in the Army National Guard for 4 years. Matthew worked at R.R. Donnelley in Willard for 25 years where he was an Assistant Pressman. He had attended the Delphi United Methodist Church. He was a member of the NRA. Matthew was proud of his country. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, sports, especially the Rams, Buckeyes and the Indians and was a John Deere fan. He is survived by his son, Eric R. Caudill of Willard; his parents, Frances and Buford Caudill of Willard; his siblings, Kathy (Willard) Casto of Mansfield, Pam Berry of Cincinnati, Dan (Terry) Caudill of Willard; his dog, Sable; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 ' 4 and 7 ' 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Delphi United Methodist Church, 628 U.S. Rte. 224, Willard with Pastor Dan Caudill and Pastor Georgette Gaston officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
