Meredith (nee Brazie) Doney, age 67, of Norwalk, died Friday, August 28, 2009 at her home. She was born May 10, 1942 in Mount Vernon, Ohio daughter of the late Daniel and Gladys (nee Sanders) Brazie. She had lived most of her life in New London and Norwalk. Meredith was a 1960 graduate of New London High School. She worked at Thomas Creative Apparel, Green Circle Growers, as a dispatcher for the Wakeman Police Dept. and most recently at Norwalk Furniture. Meredith attended the New London Alliance Church. She enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, and spent hours on her computer working with terminally ill children. She is survived by her husband, Richard Doney; her children, Kelly Martin of Jacksonville, Florida, Craig (Tracy) Robbins of North Fairfield, Daniel (Sarah) Robbins of Norwalk; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Morrow of New London; brothers, Bruce (Sandy) Brazie of Bloomville, Gene Brazie of Mansfield, Don (Janet) Brazie of Norwalk. She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron J. Robbins, sisters, Debbie Brazie and Carmita Kimbler, grandchildren, Jill Debra and Brandon Paul Coffin. Friends may call from 2'5 p.m., Sunday, August 30, at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday.
