Michael "Mike" L. Gilbert, 69, of Milan, Ohio, passed away on December 9, 2020. He was born on February 24, 1951 to the late Beverly (Grover) and Wendell Gilbert.

Mike was part of the first class at Edison, graduating from the high school in 1969. After graduation, he worked for several companies including Davis Besse Nuclear Power Station and retiring from NASA's Plum Brook Reactor Facility. He loved doing yard work and watching the Cleveland Indians.

He is survived by his sister, Marti (Bob) Welch; nephew, Sam (Angie) Farmer, and numerous other nieces and nephews; and his four-legged companion and best friend, Kera.

In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his brothers, David Gilbert, Ken Gilbert, Jim Gilbert, and Tim Gilbert.
