Michael Hamilton

Michael Hamilton, 70, of Jackson, WI died on September 3, 2026, at his residence with family by his side. Mike was born on January 14, 1956, in New London, OH. He was the son of Newberry Hamilton and Fatima (nee’ Parsons) Steele.

Mike attended New London Schools and spent some time in West Virginia during his earlier years before settling in Wisconsin. That is where he met the love of his life, Judy Witynski, and together they shared 24 years as life partners. A carpenter by trade, Mike was a talented glassblower and often sold his work when he traveled. He and Judy enjoyed traveling together.

In addition to his life partner Judy, Mike is survived by his children, Michael, Christopher, Greg and Michelle; Judy’s daughters, Angela, Shanna and Sarah; several combined grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Rick Hamilton, Geora (Perry) Lester, Renee (Dale) Lester, Sonja (Gary Burkett) Gore and Bobby (Kari) Steele. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Newberry Hamilton, mother and stepfather, Fatima and Robert Steele Sr., brother Randy Hamilton and sister-in-law, Linda Hamilton.
