Mildred "Millie" Greenwald, 87, has gone to join her husband Ed.  She passed on August 21, 2022, at home.  Her husband and children were her riches.  She enjoyed life and appreciated each day as a gift from God.  Her motto was "Your standard of giving is more important than your standard of living".  Remember her but do not grieve as she had a wonderful, full life.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane (Tim) Tuttle, Linda Zimmerman, Lori (Del) Smith, Elaine (Kevin) Stieber; sons, Michael (Melanie) Greenwald, David (Dianna) Greenwald and Doug (Lori) Greenwald; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Eileen Barman; brother, Clarence Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ed in 2003, mother, Agnes Smith and father, Leonard Smith, son in-law, Kevin Zimmerman, and brother, Paul Smith.

In keeping with Mildred's wishes, a private family memorial service will be held at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio.   Friends and family are invited to a public celebration of her life, with a lunch on Saturday, August 27, 2022, beginning at 1 p.m. in the pavilion at 1781 Hill Rd., Norwalk, Ohio.   In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army, 55 Whittlesey Ave., Norwalk, OH 44857.  Millie wishes that each of you engage in an act of kindness and tell the people that are special to you that you love them.  Online condolences to the family may be made by visiting: www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com
