Milford Morrow, 88, of Huntington, died on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Medina County. A son of the late Nelson and Flora (nee Jones) Morrow, Milford was born in Betsey, Kentucky on August 15, 1928. Milford grew up in Kentucky and moved to Ohio at a young age to help provide for his family. A tow motor operator, Milford retired from General Motors after 32 years. After work he often farmed his land and his neighbors. Milford was a member of the Wellington Grange, worked at the Lorain County Fair for many years, and was a member of the Huntington United Church of Christ. Milford was a man of action, who never sat still. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Just last year he was out deer hunting. He loved gardening and canning his produce. He was also a great story teller. He is survived by his children, Sandra Mae (David) Owen, of Homerville, Kathy (Dave) Allen, of Elyria, Milford (Teresa) Morrow, of Spencer; son-in-law, Greg Bute; grandchildren, Jeffery, Jason, Doug, Denise, Adam, Anthony, Nicholas, and Alicia; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Milford is also survived by his siblings, Homer, Stokie, Dottie and Wanda. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years, Lorita (nee Sprinkle) Morrow; son, David Milford Morrow; daughter, Donna Bute; brothers, Reed and Cecil and sisters, Juanita and Zina. Visitation will be Sunday, January 15 from 4-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, 44090. Funeral services will be held on Monday at noon at the United Church of Huntington, 26677 State Route 58, Huntington. Donations in Milford's honor may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina or United Church of Huntington. Burial will follow at Huntington East Cemetery.
