Minnie Catherine Barrett, age 87, of Wellington , died Friday, December 28, 2007 at her home. She was born January 28, 1920 in South Shore , Kentucky , daughter of the late Asa and Amanda (Stapleston) Reed. She had worked at the former Cleveland Steel Plant and retired from Rockwell Industries. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Cremans of Wellington; 3 grandchildren, Ronald E. Caswell, Jr., Richard W. Caswell both of Wellington, Charlene Caswell of Cleveland; 3 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Iva Potter, Betty Royster both of Greenup, Kentucky, Jean Parsons of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Essie Bryant of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Barrett; a daughter, Sandra K. Barrett; and her sisters and brothers, Zara Reed, Hazel Wagner, Blanche Kronk, Fred Reed, Robert Reed, Helen Moore, Ruby Bell, Laura Keisier. Friends may call 6-8 pm on Tuesday, January 1st at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
