Minta 'Sue' Justice, 75, of Greenwich, died Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby. She was born on August 19, 1935 in Hueysville, Kentucky to the late James and Rose Marie (Amburgy) Horne. Sue lived most of her life in Greenwich and Shelby.
She was the manager of Myer Meadows Apartments for 16 years and was a longtime member of the Church of God. Sue loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, traveling, reading and an avid pie baker.
Survivors include her loving husband, Arthur Justice whom she married on October 19, 1951; daughters, Cherry Warthman of Newark, Debra (Rodney) May of Greenwich and Libby (Bret) Seitz of West Chester, OH; grandsons, Shannon May, Matthew Warthman and Christopher Seitz; granddaughters, Jamie Scott, Theresa Burk, Jennifer May and Alicia Seitz and 11 great-grandchildren, Cory, Aubrey, Jamie, Autumn, Tristin, Sierra, Mia, Riley, Carson, Bridgett and Sophia. She is also survived by her brothers, James (Joy) Horne and Edward (Kim) Horne; sisters, Bette (VC) Conley, Barbara (Terry) Perkins and Kaye (Eddie) Perkins. Sue was preceded in death by her infant son, Timothy; sisters, Muriel Viars and Diana Joy Bolen and brothers, Bill, Gordon and Richard Horne.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, May 8th at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. with Pastor Don Merritt officiating. Inurnment will be private at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
