Monnie L. Canterbury

August 8, 1939 – August 13, 2021

Monnie L. Canterbury, 82, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully At Gaymont Nursing Home early Friday morning, August 13, 2021. She was born on August 8, 1939 to the late Mike and Montaz (Richards) Miller.

Monnie graduated from Norwalk High School and later was a dedicated employee for Maple City Rubber. She retired to spend more time with her precious grandchildren, which was her greatest joy in life. In her spare time, she enjoyed her time with family and friends, gardening, trips with Jerry on the truck, couples bowling and playing board games. Monnie was never without her loyal side-kick; her faithful companion and beloved dog, LuLu. Monnie was also a die hard Cleveland Browns fan.

Monnie is survived by her children, John (Sarah) Camp and Terri (Gary) Hamilton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Sandy) Miller and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

In addition to her parents, Monnie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald Canterbury and son, Alan Camp.

A private family visitation will be held. At Monnie's request cremation and burial will take place at a later date. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857 is assisting the family with arrangements.
