Myrtle Shepherd, 80, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at her home. She was born in Kentucky and lived in Greenwich for 65 years. Myrtle was a homemaker. She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene Shepherd; her children, Colleen (Sam) Long, Antoinette Day and Douglas (Cynthia) Shepherd; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Lora (Combs) Hale; infant daughter, Janis Shepherd; granddaughter, Jamie Day and brother, Delmas Hale. Visitation Monday, March 26, 2018 from 12-2 pm at Eastman Funeral Home in Greenwich. A private graveside service will be held at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
