Nancy L. Brasee, 67, of Wellington, died Monday, July 18, 2011 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin. She was born August 31, 1943 in Oberlin to the late Victor W. and Avis (nee Hite) Herrick. Nancy graduated from Wellington High School and went on to beauty school in Elyria. She owned and operated Nancy's Beauty Shop in Wellington for several years. Nancy is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, James (Deborah) Brasee of Wellington; daughter, Jodi (Dan) Starcher of Waynesville; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and brother, James (Judy) Herrick of North Canton and a sister in law Kay Herrick. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Herrick. Friends and family will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 21 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington with a service starting at 7 p.m.
