Nannette Marie Bilton, age 80, of Norwalk, died on May 11, 2025 at Norwalk Memorial Home surrounded by her loving family. Born April 23, 1945 in New London, she was the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Robinson) Martin. Nannette graduated from new London High School in 1963 and would work for Kent Sporting Goods, Thomas Apparel, Green Circle Growers, and Circon ACMI (later Nissha Medical Technologies) throughout her life.

A creative spirit, Nannette enjoyed all crafts and creative outlets. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and playing cards. However, family was most important to Nannette and she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt who will be missed by all that experienced her nurturing tendencies.

Left to cherish Nannette's memory are her children, David Bilton Jr. of Norwalk, April (Emil) Berendt of Waynesboro, PA, Deanna (William) Edgerton of Norwalk, and Kristin Gough of Cypress, TX; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Julia Stewart of Ashland, Elizabeth Pagniano of Milan, John Martin of New London, and Jim Martin of Akron; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Nannette was preceded in death by her loving husband, David M. Bilton in 1971; parents, Robert and Ruth Martin; and a brother, Bob Martin.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, OH 44851. A funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Hagerman officiating. Burial will take place at Ashland Memory Gardens immediately following the services at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice for their loving care of Nannette and her family or the Humane Society of Huron County to honor Nanette's love of animals.
