Nevada Irene (Lewis) Cook, 76, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 28, 1945 to the late Martha Ann Hall and Joe Lewis.

Irene worked as a laborer in many factories during her life. She loved the Lord, and she loved to make quilts for her family and friends.

Irene is survived by her husband, Eddie Cook; children, Michelle (Brandon) Harter Bair and Robert Laney; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Shelby Snyder.

In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her son, James Laney; and brothers, Orville Lewis and Paul Lewis.
