Nina W. (Knott) Prushinski, 78, residing in Greenwich, OH, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, August 3, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Nina was born on January 17, 1943 in Birmingham, Ohio to the late Edwin and Lillian (Zahner) Knott.
Nina had a compassionate heart for children and enjoyed being the nursery nanny at Ripley Church. Although she wasn't a sports fan, she attended every athletic event of her grandchildren that she could. In her spare time, Nina enjoyed writing poetry and doing word puzzles. Her greatest joy of all was her family.
Nina is survived by her daughters, Nina (Aaron) Kirk of Winter Park, FL and Rebecca Adams of Klamath Falls, OR; grandchildren, Jeffery, Douglas, Joshua, Nickolas, Ginger, Donovan and Nicole; 15 great-grandchildren and brother, Alan Knott of Norwalk. In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Edward Prushinski and 9 siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 4 pm until the time of funeral services at 6 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. Pastor Mark Wireman will be presiding. Following cremation, burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
