Nina Marie Williams-Spears, age 67, of New London, died on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Born August 29, 1956, in Norwalk, she graduated from South Central High School.

A devout family woman, Nina cherished the time that she spent with her grandchildren. Her favorite days were the ones where she was surrounded by those that she loved most, just hanging out and enjoying a game of Rummy.

Nina is survived by her beloved husband, Lloyd Spears; step-children, Amy Damron, Billy Spears, and Nakoma Keathley; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Goldie (Kidd) Williams; and siblings, Eva, Bucky, and Clinton.

A celebration of Nina's life will be held at a later date. Eastman Funeral Home in New London is honored to assist the family with their arrangements.
