Norma Catherine Sullivan, age 88, of Wellington, died Friday, May 4, 2007 at Allen Medical Center in Oberlin, after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Sullivan was born August 22, 1918 in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late Joseph Raymond & Agnes Marie (McCrae) Dymond. She moved to Cleveland as a young girl and lived in Cleveland until moving to Wellington in 1970. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wellington. She enjoyed raising horses, traveling , mystery novels, and loved animals. She also enjoyed reunions with her husband's military battalion, Company C 128th maintenance.
Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her husband of 65 years, Arthur R. Sullivan, Jr.; 4 daughters, Mary Catherine Bryk of Broadview Heights, Nora (David) Sullivan Koehler of Peoria, PA, Rae Anne Sullivan of Portland, Oregon and Theresa M. (David) Schramm of Wellington; 2 sons, Arthur R. Sullivan, III of Wellington and Daniel P. Sullivan (Terri L. Meddows) of Berea; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael B. Sullivan, and a sister, Verna Zeka.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2007 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 512 N. Main St., Wellington and from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, May 8, 2007. Rev. James Reymann will officiate. Memorials if desired may be made to the Herrick Memorial Library, 101 Willard Memorial Square, Wellington, Ohio 44090. Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington is in charge of arrangements.
