Norman Lee Merrill, age 84, of Clarksfield, died Monday, March 31, 2008 at his home after a long illness. He was born January 10, 1924, he was a life long resident of the New London & Clarksfield area. He was a devoted husband for 64 years and dearly loved his family. Norman graduated in 1942 from New London High School. He had farmed for many years and worked at Lorain County J.V.S. as a grounds and warehouse supervisor for 22 years, until he retired in 1992. Private graveside service will be held at the Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery, in Clarksfield, Ohio. Memorials if desired may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
