Ollie "Jean" Brown, 83, residing in Norwalk, passed away at home Monday evening, October 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Jean was born August 28, 1939, in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Hayden and Dora (Harvey) Green.

Jean moved to Ohio at the age of 4 and grew up in the Willard area. She graduated from Willard High School. Jean was employed at General Electric, as a private home health aide, and at the Norwalk Memorial Home. Jean was very sociable and enjoyed visiting the residents while she worked at the nursing home. She especially made a point of spending time with residents who did not have as many visitors. In her spare time, Jean enjoyed playing bingo, visiting Amish country, going out to eat, shopping, and being around people. Her greatest joy of all was her family.

Jean is survived by her 5 children, Pam (Leandro) Castro of Norwalk, Julie (Mark Roth) Hoyt of Clyde, Tom (Anna) Bundren of Norwalk, Natalie (Scott Christman) Bundren of Norwalk, and Amy Kramer of Norwalk; 11 grandchildren, Ty, Liseta, Lucrecia, Joe, Tara, Kaitlyn (Josh), Marissa (Madeline), Ellie, Chloe, Hattie, and Josie; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Green of Van Wert and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by the father of her children, James "Jim" Bundren; siblings, Gladys, Hazel, Mildred, Audrey, William, Charles, and a granddaughter, Nickie.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 2 pm to 5 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 11 am in the funeral home. The burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
