Patricia Jean Curtis

Patricia J. “Patty” Curtis, age 87, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, at Mosaic Gardens, in Scottsdale. She was born on November 17, 1938, in Norwalk, Ohio, to the late Edwin V. and Irene C. (Rossman) Schlachter.

Patty loved to ride motorcycles, loved her dogs and her family, and was talented with arts and crafts. Patty served her country in the United States Air Force and was in nursing after the service.

She is survived by her stepdaughters, Marta Carleton and Leslie Johnson, as well as other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, David Curtis and William Johnson; siblings, Florence Betschman, Norma Hartman, William Schlachter, Phyllis Burras, Janette Orlosky, Verna Riley, Gertrude “Trudy” Riley, Richard Schlachter, and Joan Barker.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Norwalk St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk, OH 44857, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
