Patricia Ann Morgan

June 18, 1947 — March 28, 2026

Wellington

Patricia Ann “Pat” Morgan, 78, of Wellington passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at home. Born on June 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Barney and Irene (nee Balogh) Nemeth. Pat was a lifelong resident of Lorain and attended Admiral King High School. Four years ago, she made her home in Wellington.

Caring for others was at the core of who Pat was. She worked for nearly 40 years as an LPN at Good Samaritan and then Lake Pointe Nursing Homes. She truly loved and was called to work with the elderly, especially those facing the challenges of Alzheimer's disease. Pat was a proud member of AA, where she worked tirelessly to help others on their journey through recovery, making many lifelong friends along the way. She was also an advocate for organ donation, finding meaning and hope after the tragic loss of her son Shane, knowing that a part of him lives on in those he helped.

Pat was an avid camper, spending numerous nights a year at Findley State Park with her mother, children and grandchildren. Like her mother, she loved to go out to eat and was constantly inviting others to the Olive Garden or Red Lobster. She will be remembered for her love of baking and cooking, especially her traditional Hungarian meals. Pat poured her heart into every role she found herself in, be it daughter, mother, grandmother or friend; she cherished her connections with everyone she met.

Survivors include her children, Barb (Jeff) Stazzone Gott, of Wellington, Scott Sturtevant, of Lorain, Steve (Michelle) Sturtevant, of Lorain, and Faith Sturtevant, of Cleveland; grandchildren, Victoria (Chris) Colella-Larizza, Jamie (Katie) Horten, Wyatt Goetz, Alison Gott, Alexis Sturtevant, Scotty Sturtevant, Darren (Rachael) Brake, Klayten (Samantha) Karoly, Promise (Ravin) Anderson, Gabriella Sturtevant, and Bella Gutierrez; Numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; siblings, Susan Nagy, of Wakeman, and John (Ruth) Nemeth, of Lorain; Sister-in-law, Janet Nemeth, of Amherst; and former husband and friend, Sam Stazzone, of Elyria. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert and Cathy Nemeth; brother-in-law, Larry Nagy; and her son Shane Sturtevant.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 4-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services beginning at 11:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
