Patrick Steven Patterson, 35, of Spencer, died Saturday, December 5, 2020. born on September 25, 1985 in Suffolk VA, he was the son of Kimberly Carpenter-Oliver and the late John Oliver. Patrick grew up in Vermilion and Amherst and was a graduate of Amherst High School.

Patrick was attending Ohio Technical College. He was a life member of the NRA. Patrick enjoyed flying drones, riding 4 wheelers and motorcycles, and listening to music.

Survivors include his mother Kimberly Carpenter-Oliver; step-father, Mark Patterson; sister, Ashley (Andrew) Gunter, of Avon; grandmother, Helen Carpenter; 5 aunts and 2 uncles; niece Ava-Kimberly Gunter and nephew Axl-John Gunter; and his beloved dog Steel. Patrick was preceded in death by his father John Oliver, and both of his grandfathers and a grandmother.
