Patrick Provoznik, 47, of Wellington, died Monday, February 23, 2009 at the Cleveland Clinic following a battle with cancer. Patrick was born in Oberlin on May 7, 1961 to Clarence and Betty Provoznik.
He was a 1979 graduate of Keystone High School and worked as a corrections officer at Grafton Correctional Facility. An avid outdoorsmen, Patrick enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved bowling and his motorcycle.
Patrick leaves behind his loving wife, Jeanetta; his children, Ben and Cassie Provoznik both of Wellington; two stepchildren, Ken Brewer of Medina and Ashley Brewer (Victor Watts) of Toledo and a granddaughter, Kyliana Brewer. He is also survived by his father, Clarence Provoznik of Shreeve, his mother and step-father, Betty and Ron Kreiling of Jeromesville; three brothers, Kenneth (Maria) Provoznik of Wellington, Andrew Provoznik of Oberlin and Daniel (Shirley) Provoznik of Wellington; four sisters, Sandy Provoznik of Elyria, Cora (Phil) Gilbert of Wellington, Tina (Ivan) Roberts of Wellington, Elaine (Chris) Colvin of Norwalk and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, February 26 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington from 1-3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7 p.m. with Rich Henry officiating.
