Paul Bosely, 70, of New London died Saturday morning, September 22, 2012 at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands, in New London. He was born on October 17, 1941 in Waneta WV to Edna and the late Camden Bosely. Paul graduated from Webster Springs High School and then proudly served his Country in the United States Army for 6 years, he came to the New London area in the 60's.
Paul retired from Lake Terminal Railroad as a conductor. He was an active member of the Wellington Freewill Baptist Church. Paul enjoyed golfing and hunting and spending time at the beach. He cherished the time that he spent with his grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Beatrice (nee Lafferty), His mother Edna Woodyard of Elyria, children Bruce Bosely of Huron, Tammy Crowe (Arnold Hall) of Elyria and Kristy (Joseph) Gardner McGuire of Elyria, and 8 grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his father Camden and step-father Fred Woodyard, brother Larry and grandson Tyler Gardner.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, September 24 at the Wellington Freewill Baptist Church, 205 Woodland St, from 5-8 p.m. where services will be held on Tuesday, beginning at 11 a.m. with pastors Roger Rice and Roger Fitzwater, burial will follow at Grovestreet Cemetery, New London.
