Paul Raymond Decker, 70, of Sullivan, died Friday, June 27, 2025 in Medina under the care of the Hospice of the Western Reserve. Born on March 28, 1955, in Lorain, he was the son of the late Thamer and Helen (nee Brown) Decker. Paul grew up in the Lorain and Elyria area and attended school in Elyria. In 1972 he joined and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marine Corps he was stationed in Hawaii.

Following his discharge, Paul moved back to Ohio, living in Elyria mostly before settling in Sullivan 23 years ago. He worked as a concrete finisher for Trio Concrete out of Avon. Paul enjoyed a quiet and simple life, tending his garden, fishing and riding his ATV. Most of all he cherished time with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Deborah (nee Young) and a son, Jason Michael Decker, of Sullivan. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
