Paul Alden Hanson (PawPaw) was born on November 27, 1954, and passed away on February 2, 2025, at his home surrounded by family and showered with love in Norwalk, Ohio.

Paul was an avid wrestling fan, loved tinkering in his garage, gardening for his beautiful wife and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debra Hanson, two daughters, Melissa Cardman and Amanda Groneman, 12 grandchildren along with 9 great grandchildren, His siblings, Joy Clime and Roger Hanson and several in-laws.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Iva Hanson, his daughter Shawna Hanson-Cesare, and his brother David Hanson.

The Hanson family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care that they provided for Paul.

A memorial service will be held at Norwalk Baptist Church, 2084 US Highway 20 W Norwalk, OH 44857, on February 15, 2025, where a visitation will take place from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
