Obituary

Paul A. Myers, 55, of Norwalk, passed away on November 16, 2024, at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Paul was born on August 24, 1969, in Norwalk, to Karen E. (Egle) Myers and the late Carl Myers. He graduated from Norwalk St. Paul High School in 1987 where he played football, basketball, and baseball. Paul was the owner of DP Garage Doors, which has served the community for over 18 years.

Paul was the life of the party with his infectious energy and larger-than-life personality, Paul was the life of every gathering, bringing joy and laughter to all who knew him. His greatest joy came from his family. Known for his kindness and generosity, Paul would go out of his way to help anyone in need, always willing to give the shirt off his back to a stranger. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Norwalk Eagles, Knights of Columbus, VFW Post 2743, and was a former Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge #2142. A proud Cleveland sports fan, Paul lived for the game and never missed a chance to cheer on his teams.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Delinda Myers; mother, Karen (Egle) Myers; sister, Janelle (Jeff) Dymond; brother, Randy Myers; sister-in-law, Missy (Alex) Zoldesy; brothers-in-law, Keith (Beth) Smith and Richard (Susan) Smith; nieces and nephews, Dominic & Gabriel Dymond; Spencer Myers; Alexa, Mara, Dawson, and Ava Zoldesy; Paxton & Beckett Smith; and many lifelong friends that he cherished.

In addition to his father, Carl Myers, Paul was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Frances Egle, and paternal grandmother, Betty Myers; and several aunts and uncles.

Family and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. (noon). A prayer service will be held following the conclusion of the visiting hours. A funeral Mass will take place at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E.
