IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul
Schneiter
February 12, 1942 – July 28, 2024
Paul L. Schneiter, 82, of New London, died on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 12, 1942, in New London, the son of the late Albert A. and Hazel (Anderson) Schneiter.
Paul was a lifelong resident of New London. After High School he worked at the Ohio Body in New London, until he made his dream of becoming a farmer a reality. He was a familiar face in the farming community. He owned and operated Schneiter Farms until his semi-retirement in 2012, when his son Joe took over the day to day operations of the Farm. He was then able to enjoy his backhoe and bulldozing hobby. He enjoyed taking off in his Gator every afternoon to take a ride around the farms. You could always find him at the end of the day at the shop where family and friends gathered to solve the Worlds problems. He will be fondly remembered for his generous support to the community, whether it be the use of his flatbed trailers in the community parades or the sponsorship of various sporting events in New London.
Paul is survived by his loving companion of 33 years, Pam Gowitzka; daughters, Karen (Stanton) Winbigler, Nancy (Kelly) Godfrey; son, Joe (Amber) Novosielski; step daughter, Barb Trimmer; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 4 siblings, Ronnie (Rosemary) Schneiter, Dale (Donna) Schneiter, Vicki (Kevin) Missler and Lois Baltes; He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phil Schneiter; and grandson, Jeremy Godfrey.
