Pauline Alice McConnell, 86, of Grove City, and formerly of Wellington, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Pauline was born in Brighton on June 1, 1928, to the late John and Louisa (nee Ziegler) Ewell. She graduated from Brighton High School. Pauline lived in the Wellington area most of her life. She was a member of the Pittsfield Community Church. Pauline spent her time helping on the farm and greatly enjoyed being outside. Pauline is survived by her children, Melvin (Donna) Beall of Georgia, Linda (Rob) Harrison and Brenda Perez both of Columbus; step son, Jim McConnell of California; grandchildren, Jennifer, Charlie, Brian, Schuyler, Trevor, Edward, Connie, Jason and Jason; and great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Karalynn and Landon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward McConnell, in 1993; and siblings, Marguerite Sprinkle, Lloyd Ewell and Luella Ewell. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, June 19, from 4-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday.
