Pearl Gaag, 88, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Saturday, March 5, 2022, at home. She was born June 3, 1933, in Milan, Ohio to the late Ernest and Hazel (Mills) DeLamater.
She worked as a telephone operator and at Fanny Farmer, then was a stay-at-home wife and mother. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also a friend to any person she met.
Pearl is survived by her son and daughter in law, Glenn and Phyllis Gaag II of Myrtle Beach, SC, by her son in law, Ed Coy of North Fairfield, OH, by her grandchildren, Jennifer Passarella, Christene Kislowski, Erin (Billy) Webb, Eddie (Missy) Coy, Joseph (Devon) Ponticello and Holly (Joseph) Spinelli, and by her great grandchildren, Ethan, Lindsey, Jake, Luke, Nicholas, Hunter, Anthony, and Thomas. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Clarice DeLamater, and brother-in-law, Dick Doney. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Gaag and daughter, Carol Coy, and numerous siblings.
There will be no calling hours or service.
