Pearl V. Maynard, 80, of Greenwich, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands in New London. She was born in Carrothers, Ohio on September 19, 1929, daughter of the late Ralph and Ella (nee Koshner) Reed. Pearl lived in Bellevue for 30 years, Fremont for 40 years and resided in the New London and Greenwich areas for the past 5 years. Pearl was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. She will be missed by her loving children, Mary (Merlin 'Moe') Moore of Greenwich, Linda (Rodger 'Bill') Reed of New London and Claude R. Maynard and friend Michael Duke of Columbus. Pearl is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ida Mae Maynard; 6 sisters, Mabel Hylen, Lucille Bordner, Alice Reed, Mary Reed, Peggy Peck and Evelyn Mundy and 3 brothers, Charles, Robert and Raymond Reed. Family and friends will be received at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich from 10 a.m. on Monday, July 19 until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at Omar Cemetery in Seneca County.
