Obituary

Phyllis Brock, age 71, died on May 13, 2024 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. Born July 9, 1952 in New London to the late Charlie and Tennessee (Ingram) Wireman, she had been a lifelong resident.

Phyllis was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She cared deeply for those around her and took great pride in raising her family and spending time with those that she loved most. She also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles.

Survivors include Phyllis's loving children, Tami Nightengale of New London, Deborah (Eric) Pounds of Mansfield, Terry Brock of New London, and Myree Karver, also of New London; grandchildren, Shane Nightengale, Anthony Nightengale, Joseph (Sam) Nightengale, Patrick Pounds, and Erica (Amber) Pounds; great-grandchildren, Izzy, Kayleeana, Alayna, Campbell, Hayden, AJ, Zoey, Charlene, Patrick Jr., and Zayleigh; honorary sons, Eber Overly and Jamie Case; and siblings Tom (Bert) Wireman of Norwalk, and Della Kidd of Roseville, MI.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis joins her beloved husband, Jack Brock Sr., in Heaven. She was also preceded in death by two children, Jack Brock Jr., and Vada Brock-Hamilton; and siblings Highley, Charlene, Jane, Bill, Ed, Eva, David, Norman, Luther, and Ray.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, OH. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m.. Interment will take place at Fitchville Cemetery
