Phyllis Mae Clark, 74, of Nova, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Kingston of Ashland, after a 6 month illness. She was born November 18, 1935 in Marion, Ohio, daughter of the late, Lester Paul & Ivarene Mae (Madison) Beltz. Phyllis moved to Nova in 1988. She worked as a custodian at Elgin School in Marion County and was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church Little Pilgrim Home in Ruggles. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, flowers and family. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Milford; children, Debra (Bill) Carter of FL and Richard (Debbie) Kline of Denison; step children, Sandra (Herb) Dwight of Clyde, Beverly (Ron) Henson of Lima, Carolyn (Danny) Shambaugh of Ashland, Dwayne (Jamie) Clark of SC, Julie (Kris) Nickles of Loudonville, Chuck Clark of Nova and Clara (Anson) Clark of Perrysville, Dorothy Kline Shook of Delaware, OH, Carolyn Kline and Beth Kline; siblings, Maude (Tom) Higgins, Marion, Jane Malone, Marion, Sam (Merlyn) Beltz of Marion, Raymon (Blanche) Beltz of New Bloomington, Paul (Pegg) Beltz of Alambama and David (Tammy) Beltz of Alabama; special friends, Barbara Bayless of Uhricksville, OH and Mary Katz of Marion. She was preceded in death by husband, C.W. Kline and brothers, William & Abe Beltz. Phyllis will be at Little Pilgrim Home Church in Ruggles Twp, State Route 224 Monday, June 14th for a 6 p.m. service. Visitation will start at 3 pm Tuesday until the 6 pm service. Funeral services will then be 10 am Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the church with Elder Danny Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Heights Catholic Cemetery, Marion. Memorials if desired may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cleveland area, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106. Eastman Funeral Home, New London is in charge of services.
