Priscilla Barbara Kaszar, 88, of Wellington, died May 24, 2010 at Keystone Pointe Health and Rehabilitation in LaGrange. She was born on June 8, 1921 in LaGrange to the late Louis and Esther (nee Dovin) Farkas.
Priscilla graduated from LaGrange High School in 1939 and worked nine years at Ridge Tool. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wellington. Priscilla enjoyed taking trips to Buffalo to visit her grandsons and loved cooking.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Kaszar of New York and her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Pamela Kaszar of Wellington. Priscilla is also survived by her four grandsons, Ron Allen, Ross Allen, Richard Kaszar, Jr. and Nicholas Kaszar. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Alex; a daughter, Barbara Allen; brother, Alex Farkas and her sisters, Betty (Farkas) Kaszar and Rose (Farkas) Kaszar.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, June 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, and from 10 until the time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 512 North Main St., Wellington with Rev. James Reymann officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Wellington.
