Ramona L. Krisha, 47, went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 24, 2009 after a several year battle with cancer. She was born in Bucyrus and lived most of her life in the North Fairfield area. Ramona graduated from South Central High School in 1980. She worked for Walmart, Gaymont Nursing Home and Twilight Gardens, all of Norwalk. Ramona enjoyed animals, spending time with family and friends, gardening and crafts. She also enjoyed truck and tractor pulls, going to Put-In-Bay and walking on the beach. Survivors include her loving husband of 26 years, Ray Krisha; daughter, Sarah R. (Bryon) Bloom of Citrius Heights, California; her dog, Ginger; 2 grandsons, Kevin and Cody, her mother and father, Harold and Hazel Amburgy of Greenwich; sister, Anita (Jim) McCoy; 4 brothers, Scotti McCoy of North Carolina, Ron (Kay) Amburgy of Florida, Danny (Linda) Amburgy of Oberlin, Larry (Joetta) Amburgy of Indiana, and Johnny (Cindy) Amburgy of Jenerce; half sister, Darla K. of North Carolina; brother-in law, Henry (Nora) Krisha of Wakeman and numerous nieces and nephews. Ramona was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Harry and Evelyn Krisha. Friends and family may call from 5pm to 8 pm on Monday, April 27, 2009 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London where funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday . Memorials if desired may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
