Randy Burchette Hunter, 61, of Wellington, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at New Life Hospice in Lorain. Born on February 14, 1960, in Prestonsburg, KY, he was the son of Genive (nee Hamilton) Shipley and the late Eurman Hunter. Randy spent most of his life in the Wellington area.

Randy drove truck for many years for several outfits in the area and enjoyed his time on the road behind the wheel. He was very active and enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle, and was a Ford Mustang enthusiast. Randy cherished time spent with his family and friends and his dog, Teddy.

Survivors include his mother Genevieve Shipley, of Wellington; sister, Lesa Harper, of Ashland; brother, Jimmie Stafford, of CA; and his beloved dog Teddy. Randy was preceded in death by his wife Barb; son, Daniel Hunter; father, Eurman Hunter; brother, Odis Ray Hunter; and step-father James Shipley.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, February 7, from 10 a.m. until the time of services beginning at 11 a.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St, Wellington, burial will follow at Nova Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
