Raymond Archie Anderson, 77, a lifelong Wellington resident, died January 29, 2011 at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria. On March 5, 1933 Raymond was born in Wellington to Lawrence and Marguerite (nee Rolfe) Anderson. Ray served as a Corporal in the Army during the Korean War. He was a foreman at Ford Motor Company in Lorain for 10 years. Ray was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wellington and the Wellington VFW Post 8. An avid sports fan, Ray also enjoyed spending time with his adored grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 51 and a half years, Patsy Jo (nee Storrow); son, Curtis L. (Mary) Anderson of Wellington; granddaughters, Brittney and Becky; brother, Allen Anderson of Nova and sister, Ruth Johnston of Wellington. Ray was preceded in death by a brother, Robert. Friends will be received on Monday, January 31st from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service at the First United Methodist Church of Wellington, 127 Park Place, with Rev. Lea Mahan officiating.
