Rebecca Kay Brasee, 73, of LaGrange, died Monday, November 4, 2019 surrounded by her family. Born on October 16, 1946 in Lodi, she was the daughter of the late Marshal and Flora (nee Biddinger) Cole.

Becky was a 1964 graduate of Wellington High School. She worked for Liberty Lane group home, adult care center in Grafton for 15 years. Becky enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping at Findley State Park, and working in her garden. She liked to collect owl figurines. Becky enjoyed her job, working with those with developmental disabilities, feeling that it taught her a lot about life, especially patience.

Survivors include her children John Hall, Michelle Flood, and Wendy (Larry) Shivak, all of Wellington, and Jenny Marti, of Kent; grandchildren Jay, Brittany (Joe), Jake, Stephanie, Ricky, Tommy, Marina, Annie, Talia, Kitana; siblings Sondra Faight, Gloria Dybo, both of Elyria, Gilbert Cole, and Shirley Searles, both of Elyria; and many nieces and nephews. Becky was preceded in death by her sisters Marsha Crawford Chapman and Patricia "Patti"Floyd.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St, Wellington, beginning at 11 am. Burial will follow at Sullivan Southview Cemetery.
