Rebecca's passion for books extended beyond the shelves of the library where she worked for many years, touching the lives of countless readers with her warm smile. She was particularly fond of Stephen King novels, often immersing herself in his suspenseful worlds.

An avid sports enthusiast, Rebecca was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Browns, faithfully cheering for her hometown teams through victories and defeats alike. Game days were special occasions in the Franklin household, filled with team spirit and family togetherness.

Rebecca had a special place in her heart for cats, whose independent yet affectionate nature matched her own gentle spirit. Her feline companions brought her comfort and joy throughout her life.

Rebecca was adored by her husband Bill, who treasured their years together, and her son Jeff, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and love of learning. She is also survived by her brother Gene (Ray) Jesse. The bond she shared with her daughter Michelle, who preceded her in death, was unbreakable - a connection that transcended time and space. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth (Baker) and Raymond Jesse.
