Richard Gene Adkins, 44, of Willard died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, May 10, 2020.  He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 5, 1975.  He lived in Cleveland until the age of 12, when he moved in with his grandparents in Vermilion.  He went on to finish school in his hometown of Greenwich.

Rick loved spending time with his family and made that his number one priority.  His hobbies included fishing, sports and being outdoors.  He was very hard working and always put others before him.  Rick was known for making people feel loved and wanted and always part of the family.

Rick is survived by his girlfriend, Jessica Fenwick and his five children; Rebecca Hopkins, Autumn Adkins, Tara Adkins, Cari Adkins and Jeffrey Adkins, two grandchildren;  Ayden Adkins and Joel Christiansen, siblings; Donnie (Tina) Adkins and Cari (Zach) Johnson.  Richard was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Adkins and his grandparents, Beulah and Raymond Lugli.
