Richard Cuppy, 85, of Shiloh died Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland. He was born on November 26, 1927 in Richland Co. to the late Fred and Dora (nee Harvey) Cuppy. Richard was a 1945 graduate of Shiloh High School. Richard was a farmer his whole life and was very passionate about it. He also drove school bus and work as a janitor for Crestview schools. Richard served as a Township Trustee for Butler Township for 2 terms, and was a member of the Butler Township Farmers Institute. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Fran Cuppy, his children, Bob (Sue) Cuppy of Shiloh, and Pam (Dennis Rogers) Tetrault of Nocona TX; grandchildren Sean and Beth Cuppy and Kassie (Wilmer) Martin. He is also survived by his sisters Shirley (Larry) Rader of Shiloh and June (Sam) Lynch of Clyde. Friends and Family will be received on Tuesday, November 5 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich, with services on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church, 29 W. Main St, Shiloh, 44878. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, 44805, or to Mt. Hope Lutheran Church.
