Richard Alton Denslow, 60, residing in New London, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 1, 2022, at home with his loving family by his side.
Richard was born on June 14, 1961, in Santa Rosa, FL to Dorothy (Stair) and Richard Denslow.
Richard graduated from Crestview High School and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He was employed at Kent Sporting Goods and loved fixing sewing machines to help the ladies make money. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, softball, and playing various games on his computer.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Shelly (Given) Denslow; 3 daughters, Katelin Denslow of New London, Mindy (Cassie) Denslow of Utah, and Mattie (Reville) Smith of Australia; 2 grandchildren, Mason Jones and Harrison Smith; stepmom, Sandy Denslow of Ashland; 2 sisters, Kim (Joe) Lancaster of Florida, and Christy Kinney of Pennsylvania; 2 brothers-in-law, James Given of New London and George (Lori) Given of Ashland, and several nieces and nephews.
Richard is preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Denslow.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, from 1 pm until the time of memorial service at 2 pm at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main Street, New London, OH 44851.
