Richard S. Miller, age 76, formerly of Wellington and currently of Sandusky, died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Providence Care Center in Sandusky following a long illness. Richard was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 21, 1931 and lived in the city for 25 years.
Richard served in the Army Airforce during the Korean Conflict. He played baseball in San Antonio and enjoyed organizing baseball teams for children. Richard was a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Wellington and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Jacquelynne Miller; a son, Ricardo (Martha) Miller of Mexico; two grandchildren, Ricardo 'Ricky' and Stephan Miller both of Mexico; and his friend, Bob Lain of Sandusky, who was like a brother to Richard. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta (nee Marchlones) and step-father, Frank Schultz.
