Richard C. Myers, 84, of Elyria and formerly of Norwalk, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. He was born on July 30, 1936, to Mary (Missig) and Carl Myers.

He was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in South Amherst and a life member of the Knights of Columbus in Monroeville. Richard proudly served in the United States Army from 1955-1958.

In 1991, Richard retired from F.A.A. where he worked as a systems analyst, and he had previously worked at NASA Plumbrook Station. He was a former owner of Monroeville Electric and a former owner of Computer Systems Unlimited in Oberlin. A true computer aficionado, Richard loved problem solving and anything to do with computers, watches or technology.

Richard is survived by his wife of almost 62 years, Mildred "Millie" Myers; children, Stephen Myers, Denise Myers, David Myers, and James Myers; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and brother, Raymond (Norma) Myers.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his son, Michael John Myers and brother, Donald Myers.

His funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857 with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
