Richard R. Perry

Richard R. Perry, 70, of New London, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, at Admirals Pointe.

Born on September 10, 1955, in Verdun, France, Richard was the son of the late Arthur and Marcella (Alberici) Perry. He attended high school in Germany and graduated from Bitburg High School.

A skilled carpenter by trade, Richard took pride in his work and developed countless practical skills throughout his life. He was always willing to share his knowledge and lend a helping hand to others. In his free time, he enjoyed solving Sudoku puzzles, playing video games with his son, Kameron, and watching movies with family.

Richard will be deeply missed by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Linda Perry; his son, Kameron Perry; his beloved grandson, Ezra Perry; Ezra’s mother, Sarah Perry; his siblings, Charles (Gail) Perry, Alex (Vicki) Perry, Roseanne (Lawrence) Daubney, Patty (Rick) Epting, Linda Herbert, and Anthony (Amber) Perry; and his numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Keaton Perry, and his parents-in-law, Cliff and Evelyn Chandler.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, beginning at 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m.
