Norwalk, Ohio - Richard B. Ratliff, 33, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 in Fisher-Titus Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1984 in Norwalk, Ohio, and was a 2003 graduate of Norwalk High School. Richard was a certified STNA and his last employment was at Ventra in Sandusky, Ohio. He was a former employee of Gaymont Nursing Center, Norwalk, Ohio, Heritage Village of Clyde of Ohio, Vista Care, Milan, Ohio, and Twilight Gardens Home, Norwalk, Ohio. He loved listening and playing music, especially enjoyed being with his family and friends, helping others, and caring for animals. Richard is survived by his wife of 3 years, Dawn M. (Weatherspoon) Ratliff of Norwalk, Ohio, by his parents, John M. and Judy A. (Dotson) Ratliff, of Norwalk, Ohio and by his sister, Donna J. Ratliff of Milan, Ohio. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, James Dotson of New London, Ohio. Richard was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley J. Dotson, and by his paternal grandparents, Bob and Donna Ratliff. Friends may call on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. in the Maple City Church of God, 79 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Kenneth Conley will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ratliff family.
