EASTMAN FUNERAL HOME 419-929-3781 Rick E. Montgomery, 59, of Willard, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky. He was born April 20, 1958 in Willard, Ohio, son of the late Mose and Ada (Green) Montgomery. Rick was a lifelong resident of the Greenwich area. He was a 1976 Ehove and South Central High School graduate. Rick worked at Tenneco in Milan for many years and farmed his whole life. He enjoyed working on cars, hot rods and racing. He is survived by his daughters, Mandy Nelson of Columbus, Kandace Logan of New London, Kari Brooks of Willard and Kami Montgomery of Norwalk; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his siblings, Joy (Richard) Sweeting, Cheryl (Larry) Fox and John (Helen) Montgomery; sisters in law, Barbara and Brenda Montgomery; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Gerald and James Montgomery. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2018 at Edwards Grove Cemetery, Edwards Rd., Greenwich. A Gathering of Friends and Family to Celebrate Rick's Life will follow the Graveside service at the Ripley Chapel, 4230 Old State Rd., Willard (Turn south at the Corner of Old State Rd. and St. Rt. 224).
