Rita Mae Storrow, 90, of Wellington, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Elms Retirement Village in Wellington. Born on May 11, 1927 in Detroit MI, she was the daughter of the late Jay and Norma Swisher. Rita lived most of her life in the Wellington area and was a graduate of Brighton High School. Rita worked at the A&P for 35 years, prior to that she had worked in Millersburg and at Gibby's Restaurant. She also worked in housekeeping at 5/3 Bank and Whirlaway. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wellington and was active with the women's guild. Rita enjoyed helping and cooked senior breakfast for the church seniors for over 30 years. Survivors include her sons Russell (Renee) Storrow, of LaGrange, and Joe (Cindy) Storrow of Wellington; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings Pat, Mary, Barb, Donnie, and Tom. Rita was preceded in death by her husband Donald and grandson Tyler. Friends and family will be received on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 512 North Main Street, Wellington.
